A zip-top plastic bag cannot go in an oven, cannot go in boiling water, and gets thrown away. These are food-safe silicone, rated to 450F, dishwasher safe and freezer safe, with an airtight seal and measurement markings up the side. Two sizes, two bags per pack.
Rated to 450F, and below freezing
The same bag goes in a freezer, a fridge, a microwave, an electric oven or a pot of boiling water. That range is what makes it a sous vide bag as well as a storage bag: you can cook in it at a held temperature and then store what you cooked in the same bag.
An airtight seal, not a press-close zip
The seal keeps liquid in and stops odors moving between what is in the fridge.
Measurement markings up the back
Graduated markings printed on the bag, so you are measuring in the container you are cooking in rather than dirtying a jug first.
Bpa-free, food-safe silicone
Food-safe silicone throughout. It does not absorb flavor between uses the way plastic does, and it flexes at a fold instead of splitting there.
Two sizes, two per pack
Medium holds 1500ml, large holds 3000ml, and both come two to a pack. The large suits infusions and batch cooking. The medium suits portions and leftovers.
Reusable is the whole point
Turn it inside out and put it in the dishwasher. A reusable silicone bag replaces a lot of disposable bags.
Easy to store flat
They fold down rather than holding a shape, so they stack in a drawer instead of taking a shelf like rigid containers do.
Want something rigid instead?
The Vacuum Pump Jar 2.0 pulls the air out of a glass jar for long-term storage. See the range in smell proof storage.
